2024 Staff Appreciation

A message from Raheem Beyah, Dean of the College of Engineering

The College of Engineering simply could not function without the talents and efforts of our dedicated staff members. Supporting each of you in your work and throughout your career is of paramount importance to me and the entire College leadership team.

We’ve created this site as a repository of resources in the College and across campus so you can stay connected and engaged, while growing personally and professionally. You’ll also find the awards programs we use to recognize your excellence and some of the ways we have fun as a community.

Thank you for everything you do to support our students, our faculty members, and each other. As I brag often to my friends and colleagues, you really are the best staff anywhere in the country.

Sincerely,
Raheem

Staff Awards

We recognize some of the College’s stellar staff members each year who are exceptional in their dedication to CoE and help build a culture of excellence and positivity.

Staff Appreciation

Staff members from across the College eat, drink, and cheer on the deans and School chairs in an annual contest for bragging rights and the Buzz Trophy at Staff Appreciation. This late summer afternoon gives staff an opportunity to relax and enjoy each other’s company ahead of the new academic year.
